DENVER (AP) -- First lady Michelle Obama says there's no secret to success.
The first lady on Monday told about 80 Denver high school girls that successful women make mistakes, but they keep working.
Dozens of successful women, including politicians, actresses and an astronaut, joined the first lady for a mentoring luncheon at the Colorado governor's mansion.
Obama and the other mentors are going to 11 area high schools for afternoon chats with students.
She did not take questions from the media, though the girls were allowed to ask questions privately.
It's Mrs. Obama's first visit to Colorado since the summer, when President Barack Obama spoke about health care changes at a town-hall meeting in Grand Junction.
