GRETNA, La. (AP) --Attorneys are set to deliver closing arguments in the murder trial of Corey Miller, better known as the rapper "C-Murder."

Miller is accused of shooting a 16-year-old fan during a brawl in a nightclub. He has been charged with second-degree murder.

The 38-year-old Miller would face a mandatory life term if convicted of the Jan. 12, 2002, killing of Steve Thomas at the Platinum Club in Harvey. The club has since closed.

Miller's first trial ended with a conviction on Sept. 30, 2003, but state District Judge Martha Sassone ruled that prosecutors had improperly withheld criminal background information about three key witnesses. The Louisiana Supreme Court upheld her ruling.
