Rapper Too Short arrested for assault in Idaho

California rapper Too $hort has been arrested in Idaho on charges of assault and battery.

While performing at The Knitting Factory nightclub, Too Short, real name Todd Shaw, was told he could not bring underage girls backstage and into his dressing room.

According to police reports, the 44-year-old rapper and his associate beat and punched club employees in retaliation.

If convicted, Too Short faces three counts of misdemeanor battery.
