Voter ID laws could impact minority, young voters (AP file photo)
South Carolina's voter ID law is one of the strictest in the nation, and that has some activists worried that voters -- especially young and minority voters -- could be disenfranchised in 2012.
In this month's "The Big Issue: Voter Denied," NBC News reporter Mara Schiavocampo explores the pros and cons of voting reform in the Palmetto State and around the country, and discovers that finding a "valid ID" can be harder than you think.
