A Las Vegas bound plane made an emergency landing, after a passenger became unruly.

United Airlines flight 223 left Dulles airport in Virginia Saturday, headed for Las Vegas.

But the pilot diverted to Denver, after an apparent intoxicated passenger tried to open an exterior door during the flight.

Passengers stepped in to keep the man under control.

The passenger was removed from the flight in Denver and the plane eventually made it to Las Vegas.
