Family members of 7 African American men killed by Miami police will meet with a group of city commissioners in an effort to have the new police chief removed.

Of the seven men shot and killed between July of 2010 and February, two were unarmed. Residents say that police are too aggressive and too quick to shoot.

Rev. Al Sharpton joined Jansing & Co. this morning to talk about the sudden change in the policing of this neighborhood.

"Why only in one community do you have 7 deaths, two unarmed? Why before this chief came in, you had 20 months with no shootings?" Sharpton said. "When a new chief comes in with a new policy, we see all these shootings."

Police Chief Miguel Exposito says that policeman are only shooting when their lives are threatened, and says that this is a result of a crackdown on crime in neighborhoods plagued with crime and gangs.

Exposito and other officers participated in a controversial new reality show called "Miami's Finest SOS," and on the show an officer can be heard saying "We hunt, and I like to hunt" in reference to their policing. That video is likely to be used as evidence of the police's trigger-happy actions.
