Hope for Haiti pilot prepares to deliver relief

A Florida pilot is preparing to fly right into the Haiti disaster zone to deliver relief. He's been there before, but this time it will be different. These are a few of the thousands of Haitian children who rely on the Naples based non-profit Hope for Haiti. They're the ones pilot and board member Bill Earls worries about now as he prepares for a trip to the heart of the devastation. "I know these people are under such dire straights under normal circumstances," said Earls. Earls worries that after Tuesday's devastation, Hope for Haiti will be in need also. "We support nine schools there with about four thousand students. We support a hospital there, we also support an orphanage there." So far there's no word on any possible damage. "Right now we're going to spend tomorrow assessing the situation to see what's needed. We're probably going to be flying in doctors, nurses and meds in the next few days." He says the area hit is densely populated -- and delicate. "These homes are just hanging off the edge of this mountain. They're very poorly constructed." He says now more than ever the organization needs your help bringing hope to Haiti. "What we need more than anything for anyone who is watching this is we need donations."
