NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) -- A group of black Connecticut firefighters hopes to block promotions for white firefighters who won a discrimination case before the U.S. Supreme Court. The white firefighters sued New Haven after the city threw out results of some 2003 promotion exams when too few minorities did well.
