Summer marks the start of the busy wedding season. Having the invitations, the cake, and of course the dress are all a part of the perfect wedding essentials, but what if everything doesn't work out perfectly? There is always a chance one of your wedding vendors might go out of business before the big day, a worse case scenario for every bride and groom. There are a growing number of brides who are counting on wedding insurance, just in case.
The Better Business Bureau says insurance can help you get your money back if there's a wedding disaster. With wedding costs averaging well over $20,000, and insurance only a few hundred dollars, it may be something to consider. People should be sure to make certain they understand any insurance policy before they buy into it. There may also be deductibles and coverage limits.
