Bullies and intimidation are not just relegated to the schoolyard. They are prevalent in the workplace.
"I've been silenced in meetings, I've had my work sabotaged, I've been belittled publicly...my boss was a bully," said Colleen Robinson.
Bullying is common in the workplace, experts say 54 million people have been harrassed on the job.
A recent study at the Workplace Bullying Institute has showed that bullying is done primarily by men while more than half of their targets are women. Women bosses overwhemingly bully female employees by over 70%.
Being bullied can affect one's mental health. It can cause depression, anxiety and self-isolation. In office bullying can lead to employees skipping work altogether.
