Frank Kelly, often asked to give motivational speeches due to his exemplary life, one day found himself in a bind; he was asked to give a motivational speech to homeless people. Little did he know that the experience would change his life by breaking all previous perceptions of what he knew as the stereotypical homeless person, and allowing him to create a program to give them a chance to succeed.

"I was moved, and to a certain degree I was ashamed. It was amazing to see that my stereotype of homelessness was so far from the truth," says Kelly.

Kelly stopped giving motivational speeches and created 'Project Baking Streets', a program that functioned as a class in a homeless shelter promoting confidence and teaching homeless people how to get a job. He then persuaded, or in some cases begged employers to give his "students" a chance. The result? Success.

"It feels magnificently wonderful," says Monique a previously homeless mother of two, who is now completely self-sufficient thanks to Kelly's program.

"When they believe in themselves, that is the best pay off," says Kelly of his program.
