Within 24 hours of its debut, Rihanna’s music video for her song “Where Have You Been” racked up 4.9 million views through VEVO. The site is a host for music videos that operates largely through a collaboration with YouTube. The company took to Twitter to congratulate the Barbados-born singer on her accomplishment.

By getting almost 5 million views, Riri surpasses Nicki Minaj who previously held the record with her “Stupid Hoe” video. Back then, the female rapper “clocked 4.8 million views, the highest single-video VEVO number in 24 hours ever.”
