For Black History Month, most Americans remember learning about Martin Luther King Jr. and his "I Have a Dream" speech. Whether we were reading about Rosa Parks, Malcolm X, Harriett Tubman, or Fredrick Douglass, the theme has usually been about the history of slavery and the lingering racism in America.
