Caught on tape: Robbery suspect eats evidence
10:22 AM on 11/24/2009
It's a case of a clever crook caught on camera.
This time it happened in Streetsboro, Ohio Thursday as police were arresting an alleged bank robbery suspect.
After a short chase they caught 35-year-old John H. Ford.
During a search of his pockets they found what they believed to be a robbery note writing to the teller.
They placed the piece of paper on the hood of the police car but before they could read its contents Ford ate the paper.
Police later found a gun and cash in Ford's car but no note.
